About the opportunity:

Efficiently, timely and accurately post cash, adjustments, and funds transfers for services of Vail Health.

What you will do:
  1. Accurately post cash (including zero pays), adjustments, and funds transfers on a daily basis for insurance companies, patients, vendors, and hospital departments.
  2. Read and accurately interpret EOB’s and insurance correspondence.
  3. Prepare and compile daily reports and reconciliation.
  4. Work with all forms of money transactions: credit cards, cash, checks, electronic funds transfers, and batching bank deposits.
  5. Work and review unpostable or unapplied cash reports weekly.
  6. Work and resolve the Unapplied Cash account by the end of each month.
  7. Work collaboratively with supervisors and other staff to identify trends and solutions to enable more accurate posting.
  8. Communicate and collaborate with team members as needed.
  9. Role models the principals of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.

The posted salary range for this position is the anticipated hiring range in Colorado and will be adjusted based on geographic location. Vail Health considers a variety of factors in making compensation decisions which influence the offer a candidate receives.

Hourly Pay:
$21.32$25.40 USD
