  • Lead end-to-end recruiting for corporate and operational roles, partnering with hiring managers on role scoping, interview processes, and offers

About the company:

We are a fast-growing beauty brand redefining the industry through innovation, creativity, and community. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for an experienced HR Manager to own and optimize our people operations, systems, and processes while supporting a high-performance, people-first culture.

Scope of the role:

The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the full HR function across the organization, including payroll, HRIS, recruiting, onboarding, training, and offboarding. This role is both hands-on and strategic, ideal for someone who has supported growing companies and can build structure while maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. People Operations & Compliance

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations across the full employee lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and HR best practices
  • Maintain employee records, policies, and internal documentation

2. Payroll & Benefits

  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Partner with finance and external vendors on payroll, benefits, and tax filings
  • Manage benefits administration, enrollments, and employee inquiries

3. HRIS & Systems

  • Own and manage HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Rippling, Gusto, or similar)
  • Ensure data accuracy, reporting, and system optimization
  • Improve workflows through automation and process improvements

4. Recruiting & Talent Management

  • Manage end-to-end recruiting processes for corporate and operational roles
  • Partner with hiring managers on role scoping, interview processes, and offers
  • Support employer branding and deliver a strong candidate experience

5. Onboarding, Training & Development

  • Own onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth employee transitions
  • Develop and improve training programs and internal documentation
  • Support performance management cycles and feedback processes

6. Culture & Employee Experience

  • Act as a trusted partner to employees and leadership
  • Support engagement, retention, and internal communication initiatives
  • Help scale company culture while maintaining core values

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or HR Management
  • Hands-on experience with payroll, HRIS, recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience supporting fast-growing companies, preferably in eCommerce, beauty, or consumer brands
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Close attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice to have:

  • Experience in DTC, eCommerce, or beauty brands
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification
