About the role

We’re looking for a Shopify App Developer who can architect and build a scalable integration experience similar to Shopify Collective — enabling real-time product, pricing, and inventory synchronization across multiple stores.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop a secure, merchant-facing Shopify plugin/app that connects and syncs data between multiple Shopify stores.
• Build robust integrations with Shopify APIs to manage products, pricing, inventory, fulfillment, and permissions.
• Implement automated data flows and triggers that support dynamic recommendations (e.g., product velocity, pricing adjustments, or performance insights).
• Ensure the plugin is lightweight, secure, and easy to install, with a strong focus on usability and brand experience.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to shape the system architecture and integrate analytics or AI-driven intelligence features.
• Maintain documentation, deployment pipelines, and API version control for long-term scalability.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Shopify app or plugin development.
• Proven track record building Shopify integrations that connect multiple stores or external systems.
• Deep understanding of Shopify APIs (Admin API, Storefront API, Webhooks, GraphQL, etc.).
• Experience working with data synchronization, automation, and performance tracking tools.
• Proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript, Liquid, and GraphQL (or similar stack).
• Strong focus on security, scalability, and clean architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate product goals into technical execution.

Bonus Skills

• Experience developing AI-driven pricing or predictive analytics tools.
• Knowledge of Shopify Collective or similar marketplace-style integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS, Vercel, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
