Scope of the Role:

We are seeking a motivated, empathetic, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support our growing customer base. You’ll be the first line of communication, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience across email, chat, and social platforms—all while maintaining the Optimize brand voice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries across email, live chat, and social media platforms in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolve issues related to orders, shipping, returns, and product questions with empathy and clarity
  • Monitor and track recurring issues to help identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, etc.) to escalate and resolve complex concerns
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and tone across all interactions
  • Assist with managing customer reviews and feedback loops to ensure satisfaction and retention

Requirements

Years of Experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a customer service or support role (preferably in eCommerce or DTC environments)

Background:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm, positive, and resourceful in high-pressure situations
  • Passion for wellness, supplements, or holistic health is a strong plus
  • Self-starter comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote setting

Tools and Software:

  • Experience with helpdesk platforms such as Gorgias, Zendesk, Freshdesk, or similar
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (Shopify is a plus)
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and Slack
