Job description

About us:

As one of Germany’s leading health tech companies, we are rethinking discharge management — technology-driven, patient-centered, and free of bureaucracy. Alongside our market-leading SaaS platform, we build AI solutions that radically simplify processes in hospitals and post-acute care, relieve healthcare professionals, and put the focus back on patients. Today, we already connect two-thirds of all German hospitals with more than 650 rehabilitation clinics and 25,000 nursing and homecare providers. With around 100 employees and growing, we are looking for people with strong values who want to help us improve the healthcare system.

This is what you can expect from us as a Junior Site Reliability Engineer:

  • Work with Purpose - your work has a real impact on patients and healthcare professionals in the medical field.

  • Corporate Culture - we embrace structures that foster high performance and strong team dynamics. Our interactions are characterized by mutual respect, loyalty, and recognition. We work together towards common goals and expect the same from you.

  • Flexibility - would you like to pick up your child from daycare? Do you enjoy exercising during lunchtime? We support you in achieving that balance. Besides flexible working hours, as a remote-first company we offer the flexibility to work 100% remotely from Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Poland, France and Austria.

  • Edenred card (Germany only) - which you can use in the way that suits you best.

  • Professional Development - your professional development is important to us. We are dedicated to your success and job satisfaction.

  • Extra Day Off on Your Birthday - so you can celebrate with your loved ones.

Tech stack:

  • AWS (The new European Sovereign Cloud partition)

  • Kubernetes and Postgres

  • Datadog

  • Github Enterprise Cloud with Actions

  • Dockerhub

  • Plus various auxiliary tools for security, compliance and operations: Google as IdP, SonarCloud, VPNs, Quicksight, CDN, Cloudformation, etc.

Who we are, the people you will be working with directly:

Internally our technical department is a flat team of skilled engineers covering the following areas:

  • Backend (mostly Golang)

This is how you will make an impact as a Junior Site Reliability Engineer:

  • You improve security and compliance of our observability ecosystems, ensuring it meets the requirements of the healthcare sector and relevant European standards and regulations (e.g., C5, GDPR, ISO 27001), with the support of your team.

  • You monitor and operate our newly emerging AI portfolio and ensure it runs reliably, performs well, and remains transparent as it scales.

  • You establish and maintain SRE practices such as SLIs/SLOs, availability targets, and error budgets, and use them to continuously improve reliability.
