Job description

Senior Engineer. Builder Mindset. AI-first delivery. Full ownership

We are looking for a builder.

This is a high-ownership backend role on a lean team for someone who wants to take responsibility, move fast, make strong technical calls, and turn ambiguous product needs into production-ready systems. The default mode of execution here is AI-first. Engineers use a squad of agents to research codebases, plan changes, generate code, create tests, run tests, and harden the code.

Your role is to use AI to deliver high-quality systems at AI velocity while retaining full ownership of architecture, correctness, security, performance, and production reliability.

The work

Design and own backend services in NestJS, and TypeScript, from schema to production
Architect for scale, not just for the feature in front of you
Build and maintain GraphQL APIs across a microservices environment
Own database design, optimization, and reliability in Postgres
Set and enforce quality standards across agent-generated and manually written code alike
Shape requirements with product before they become tickets
Contribute to technical decisions across architecture, infrastructure, testing, and developer productivity
Do all of the above with an AI-first approach
