At Solidicon, we’re looking for a Compliance & Legal Specialist with hands-on iGaming experience who wants to grow and contribute in an international, fast-moving environment.
Solidicon is a software development company within iGaming, focused on creating high-quality, engaging games for a global market. We work with partners across multiple jurisdictions and operate in a fast-moving, highly regulated environment.
We’re a team of 28 people based in Gothenburg, combining deep expertise with a strong collaborative culture. Our vision, setting hearts racing around the world, one thrilling game at a time, drives everything we do.
This role sits at the core of our operations and is an important part of how we scale internationally. This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for someone who can contribute from the start and gradually take ownership of compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions.
In practice, your work will be a mix of coordinating licensing processes, reviewing and updating contracts, conducting due diligence and making sure we have the right documentation in place across different markets. You’ll spend time communicating with regulators and partners, following up on requests, and ensuring everything aligns with local requirements.
A big part of the role is also keeping things structured. This means maintaining and improving templates, tracking ongoing processes, and making sure nothing falls between the cracks when it comes to compliance obligations.
You will support internal teams by answering questions, clarifying requirements, and helping them understand what is needed from a compliance perspective in their day-to-day work. At the same time, you’ll be involved in more analytical work, such as reviewing new regulations, supporting due diligence processes, and understanding how different requirements impact the business.
Prepare, submit and maintain iGaming licenses and certifications across jurisdictions
Act as a point of contact towards regulators and external partners
Review, draft, and update contracts and legal clauses
Manage due diligence processes, including documentation, follow-ups, and reviews
Maintain structured records, templates, and internal compliance documentation
Support teams internally with compliance-related questions and requirements
Assist with legal administration, research, and ongoing documentation work
Monitor regulatory updates and flag relevant changes
Contribute to improving internal processes and ways of working
Experience working within iGaming
Experience working with international markets, regulations, and stakeholders, ideally beyond Europe
Hands-on experience with licensing, regulatory processes, and due diligence
Solid understanding of how compliance work is carried out in a regulated environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay structured across multiple tasks
Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Degree in Law or equivalent practical experience
You’ve already worked in a regulated environment, ideally within iGaming, and have a good understanding of how compliance work is carried out in practice. You know what licensing processes involve, how to handle due diligence, and how to navigate requirements across different markets.
You’re comfortable working both independently and closely with others, and you don’t mind getting into the details while still keeping an eye on the bigger picture. You bring structure to your work, stay on top of multiple processes at once, and make sure things move forward.
You also enjoy being close to the business, supporting colleagues, answering questions, and helping others understand what is required from a compliance perspective. At the same time, you’re curious and proactive, you ask questions, look into new regulations, and want to understand how things work, not just follow instructions.
Has practical experience from compliance work in a regulated environment
Understands iGaming processes, terminology, and ways of working
Is structured, detail-oriented, and reliable
Communicates clearly and feels comfortable interacting with different stakeholders
Is proactive and takes initiative
Enjoys both routine tasks and more complex, problem-solving work
We are based in Gothenburg and value working closely together as a team.
At the same time, we know this is a niche competence. For the right candidate, we are open to a hybrid or fully remote setup, with regular visits to our Gothenburg office.
Experience working with GDPR and data protection
Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g. ISO 27001)
Experience handling IP-related matters
Experience from jurisdictions outside Europe
Fluency in Swedish or additional languages
At Solidicon, you’ll join a collaborative and ambitious team where your work has real impact.
You’ll also get:
5,000 SEK wellness allowance
Generous bonus program
Private health insurance
Paid parental leave
30 days of paid vacation

If you have experience from iGaming and have worked in an international, regulated environment, we’d love to hear from you.
