Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Partner with marketing, sales, and product stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions
  • Design, implement, and validate campaigns using Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio; define segmentation and personalization strategies; support testing and UAT
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Agentforce AI for marketing use cases; define AI-driven workflows, assist in training and evaluating AI outputs, and monitor performance
  • Analyze campaign performance and customer data to generate actionable insights; define KPIs and dashboards; ensure data quality and governance; support A/B testing and communicate progress and risks to stakeholders

Position: Business Analyst – Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Agentforce for Marketing
Location: Remote
11 Months Contract

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Agentforce for Marketing to bridge business needs with technical marketing solutions. This role will focus on gathering requirements, optimizing customer journeys, and enabling AI-driven marketing capabilities to deliver personalized and data-driven customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
  • Partner with marketing, sales, and product stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions
  • Create user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement validation sessions
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement campaigns using Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio
  • Define segmentation, targeting strategies, and campaign logic
  • Ensure proper use of data extensions, contact models, and personalization strategies
  • Support testing, UAT, and campaign validation
Agentforce for Marketing (AI Integration)
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Agentforce AI agents for marketing use cases (personalization, lead nurturing, content generation)
  • Define business requirements for AI-driven workflows and automation
  • Assist in training, testing, and evaluating AI agent outputs
  • Monitor and refine AI-driven processes based on performance insights
Data Analysis & Insights
  • Analyze campaign performance and customer data to generate actionable insights
  • Define KPIs, dashboards, and reporting requirements
  • Work with data teams to ensure data quality, governance, and compliance
  • Support A/B testing and optimization strategies
Stakeholder Communication
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3–6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in digital marketing or CRM environments
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio)
  • Familiarity with Agentforce or Salesforce AI tools (Einstein AI, generative AI)
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation and customer lifecycle management
  • Experience writing user stories, BRDs, and functional specifications
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and data segmentation concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Email Specialist or Consultant)
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with reporting tools and dashboards (e.g., Tableau, CRM Analytics)
  • Exposure to AI-driven marketing or personalization platforms
