Roles & Responsibilities

Core SD-WAN expertise with Silver Peak (Aruba EdgeConnect) design, deployment and configuration, including Unity Orchestrator, EdgeConnect appliances, and Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP).
Strong networking fundamentals (MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, QoS) with WAN optimization, plus ability to create High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) and plan migrations for large-scale WAN transformations.
Industry certifications such as Silver Peak ASE / Aruba ACEP and advanced networking credentials (e.g., CCNP/CCIE); AWS/Azure Networking Specialty preferred.
Cloud integration and automation experience (AWS, Azure; Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute, VPN connectivity) with Python, Ansible and REST APIs for automation; ability to create reusable templates.

Requirements:

Design, deploy and configure Aruba Silver Peak/EdgeConnect SD-WAN solutions; develop HLD/LLD and lead migration planning for large-scale WAN transformations.
Integrate SD-WAN with firewalls and cloud security; implement encryption standards and secure routing policies; develop automation templates using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs.
Lead cloud integrations (AWS/Azure) including Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute and VPN connectivity; optimize traffic with application-aware routing and WAN optimization.
Coordinate project management activities with Agile or ITIL frameworks; manage timelines, stakeholders, and monitor network performance via telemetry dashboards.

Core SD-WAN Expertise - Hands-on in depth experience with Silver Peak (Aruba EdgeConnect) design, deployment and configuration.
- Proficiency in product’s specifications, Unity Orchestrator , EdgeConnect appliances , and Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) .

Networking Fundamentals

- Strong knowledge of MPLS , BGP , OSPF , IPSec , and QoS .
- WAN optimisation techniques. Design & Architecture - Ability to create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) .
- Migration planning for large-scale WAN transformations. Security Integration - SD-WAN integration with firewalls and cloud security.
- Encryption standards and secure routing policies. Certifications - Silver Peak ASE / Aruba Certified Edge Professional (ACEP) .

Cloud Integration

- Experience with AWS , Azure , and cloud-onramp solutions.
- Familiarity with Transit Gateway , ExpressRoute , VPN connectivity.

Automation & Orchestration

- Knowledge of Python , Ansible , and REST APIs for automation.
