Responsibilities:
Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure software delivery.
Design and implement automated security controls across development, build, and deployment processes.
Perform security assessments, including static (SAST), dynamic (DAST), and dependency vulnerability scanning.
Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
Implement and manage secrets management, identity and access controls, and encryption mechanisms.
Monitor systems for security threats and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct risk assessments and support threat modeling activities.
Promote secure coding practices and provide guidance to development teams.
Maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and audit reports.
Qualifications:
3–6+ years of experience in DevOps, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps roles.
Strong understanding of application security principles and secure SDLC practices.
Experience with security testing tools ( SAST, DAST, SCA tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, or OWASP ZAP).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with cloud security in platforms such as OCI, AWS, or Azure.
Knowledge of container security and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with identity and access management (IAM), secrets management, and encryption techniques.
Understanding of compliance frameworks ( ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2) is required.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Certifications in CISSP, CEH, GIAC, CKS, CKA, Docker and Terraform (some required).
AWS Certified Security or Azure Security Engineer or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer required.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Advanced English proficiency skills (C1) required.
