How you will make a difference
We are looking for a Dynamics CRM Functional Consultant and Architect who is ready to take on a strategic, client-facing role guiding organizations through the evaluation, design, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions. Specializing primarily in Dynamics CRM Sales and Customer Service, you will bridge the gap between business needs and system capabilities.

Why this role?

This is a position for someone who dislikes being "just a ticket-taker"—you will own the relationship, define the vision, and see the tangible impact of your builds. You will balance approximately 70-80% billable delivery with 20% pre-sales and internal strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

I. Client Engagement and Pre-Sales

  • Pre-Sales Consultation: Guide technical and functional conversations to demonstrate the value of Dynamics CRM and the broader Power Platform to prospective clients.
  • Business Assessments: Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions and requirements gathering workshops to evaluate and map client business processes.
  • Solution Scoping: Translate business needs into actionable project plans by developing Statements of Work (SOWs), effort estimates, and detailed functional specification documentation.

II. Solution Architecture and Implementation

  • System Design & Configuration: Architect holistic solutions leveraging Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service, performing hands-on configuration (entities, forms, views, dashboards) and occasional customization as needed.
  • Project Management: Oversee Dynamics implementation projects to ensure alignment with project timelines, budgets, and functional requirements.
  • Process Automation: Utilize Microsoft Power Automate to design, map, and implement workflow automations and business process enhancements.
  • Integration Strategy: Identify integration points between Microsoft Dynamics and third-party applications, demonstrating strong familiarity with integration patterns and collaborating with technical teams for execution.

III. Training, Support, and Optimization

  • User Training: Develop tailored training materials and conduct comprehensive sessions for end-users, subject matter experts, and client administrators..
  • Post-Implementation Support: Deliver ongoing troubleshooting and continuous optimization recommendations following system go-live to drive user adoption and system health.
Requirements

What you bring to your new team

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Functional Consultant, Solution Architect, or similar role within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem, specifically in an IT Consulting or Professional Services environment.
  • Dynamics 365 Mastery: Deep functional and architectural knowledge of D365 CE modules, specifically Sales and Customer Service.
  • Platform Proficiency: Strong understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem and proven experience leveraging Power Automate for business logic.
  • Integration Knowledge: Strong familiarity with data integration concepts, API integrations, and common third-party connectors.
  • Professionalism: Exceptional presentation skills to articulate complex architectures to C-suite executives and a detail-oriented approach to writing functional specifications.

How you add even MORE value

  • Module Expertise: Experience with Microsoft Project Operations (highly preferred) or Business Central.
  • Education & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, OR established equivalent experience through a portfolio of successful Dynamics architecture and consulting engagements.
  • Value-Add Certifications: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600), Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant Associate (MB-210), or Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate (MB-230).
