LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our team.

Job Description:
We are seeking a mid-level Facility Security Officer (FSO) to manage and execute our industrial security program in support of classified federal contracts. This role is responsible for administering personnel security, maintaining compliance with federal regulations, and ensuring the integrity of our cleared workforce (approximately 150–300 cleared personnel).
This position requires someone who can operate independently, maintain strict compliance standards, and engage directly with government stakeholders while supporting a growing organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Personnel Security Management
- Administer the full lifecycle of personnel clearances (initiation, processing, upgrades, reinvestigations, and terminations)
- Maintain accurate records in DISS and NBIS
- Track clearance status, expirations, and eligibility for 150–300 cleared personnel
- Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and annual refresher training
- Compliance & Program Oversight
- Ensure compliance with NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117)
- Prepare for and support Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) security reviews and audits
- Maintain Standard Practice Procedures (SPPs) and security documentation
- Manage insider threat and security education programs
- Facility & Information Security
- Oversee classified material control, storage, and destruction procedures
- Maintain facility clearance (FCL) requirements and accreditation documentation
- Coordinate visit requests and access control for classified environments
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as the primary interface with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency
- Partner with HR, recruiting, contracts, and program management to align staffing and clearance requirements
- Support proposal efforts with clearance verification and staffing feasibility
- Program Execution & Reporting
- Develop and maintain clearance tracking reports and metrics
- Identify risks related to clearance timelines and workforce readiness
- Support rapid onboarding of cleared personnel for new contract awards
- Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in industrial security, with direct FSO or Assistant FSO responsibilities
- Experience managing 100+ cleared personnel (150–300 preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of NISPOM and DCSA requirements
- Hands-on experience with DISS and NBIS
- Active Secret clearance (Top Secret strongly preferred)
- Experience supporting DCSA audits with successful outcomes

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Certification
- Experience in a small to mid-sized GovCon environment (growth-stage preferred)
- Familiarity with SCI, SAP, or Special Access Programs
- Experience implementing or managing Insider Threat Programs

Expected Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually. Salary will be based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, training, certifications, clearance level and work location.
