Roles & Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
3+ years of back-end Workday experience, including Workday Compensation and Time/Attendance.
3-5 years of relevant HR work experience.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and knowledge of Workday Security; ability to write/maintain custom reports and calculated fields.

Requirements:

Provide support for Workday areas such as Compensation and Time/Attendance, troubleshoot issues, and deliver excellent customer service to the Workday user community.
Serve as primary Workday support contact, collaborate with Workday Community to resolve issues, stay informed on Workday enhancements, and create/update documentation for new or changed processes.
Perform administrative functions including security maintenance, business process configuration, data loads, password resets, and support for other HR platforms.
Assist with biannual system enhancement releases (regression testing, process improvements) and conduct regular data audits/ validations, collaborating with HR and stakeholders to build reporting.

Who We're Looking For

Our HR Technology strategy involves a forward-thinking approach to understanding current and future trends as well as the impact of our investments in our people. The HR Technology Specialist is a member of the HR function. They will be the primary support contact for our Workday user community while also ensuring that the security and confidentiality of our Workday platform is maintained. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of the HR function, is proactive and creative in looking at issues, an strong team player, and is comfortable with navigating the Workday platform. There is room for role expansion to support other HR technology systems.

Some of What You'll Do

Scope of the Role:

Direct Reports: This is an individual contributor role and has no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Support areas of Workday, such as Compensation and Time/Attendance
Support contact for the Workday user community by trouble shooting problems, answering questions ensuring queries are addressed in a timely manner with excellent customer service
Collaborate with Workday Community to resolve issues found within Workday and proactively remain informed about Workday enhancements
Create documentation for new processes and update existing documentation based on enhancements made to existing processes
Perform administrative functions including security maintenance, business process configuration, data loads, password resets, etc. for Workday and other HR platforms
Assist with twice a year mandatory system enhancement release, including regression testing and identifying process improvements
Regularly perform data audits and validations, and follow up with appropriate teams for corrections
Collaborate with HR and functional stakeholders to build reporting (including calculated fields, all report types)

Experience, Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree: human resources preferred or related field
3+ years of back-end experience on the Workday platform with experience in Workday Compensation and Time/Attendance strongly preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant Human Resources work experience
Excellent customer service skills, able to collaborate with a wide variety of people

Additional Requirements:

Knowledge of Workday Compensation and Time/Attendance
Capable of writing/maintaining Custom Reports; Experience with creating calculated fields
Comprehension of Workday Security
Must be experienced user of MS Office (Word, Excel Outlook, PowerPoint; In Excel, must have ability to create pivot tables, VLOOKUP's)
Experience with MS SharePoint a plus.
A strong foundation and understanding of key HR practices and issues
Detail oriented and organized, with high degree of accuracy
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Proven ability to prioritize and complete tasks with tight deadlines
Ability to work both independently and as a team player
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Able to work in a fast-paced, time-critical environment
