Job Description :

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager to oversee the implementation of our products and services for key customers. The ideal candidate will excel at managing cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Initiation:
    • Review and refine project scope
    • Establish cross-functional project teams
    • Conduct internal and external kick-off meetings
    • Establish project management standards and guidelines
  2. Project Planning:
    • Create detailed project schedules and timelines
    • Define quality assurance and control procedures
    • Develop risk management and mitigation plans
    • Document customer acceptance criteria for deliverables
    • Establish comprehensive communication plans
  3. Project Execution:
    • Maintain and update project plans regularly
    • Ensure adherence to quality standards
    • Manage project changes, risks, and issues
    • Coordinate issue resolution across teams
    • Secure customer acceptance for project deliverables
    • Provide regular status reports to stakeholders
  4. Project Closing:
    • Conduct formal project closing activities
    • Perform post-implementation reviews
    • Document lessons learned and best practices
  5. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams
    • Develop team members' skills and capabilities
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture
  6. Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams
    • Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction
  7. Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 4+ years recent experience as a customer-facing Program/Project Manager
  • Demonstrated use of formal Project Management methodologies
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Extensive experience working cross-functionally with internal departments, vendors, and customers
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide internal and external teams through the project lifecycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven negotiation skills to achieve successful project outcomes
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Salesforce, SharePoint)
  • PMP certification or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Experience in a SaaS environment
  • Agile/Scrum certification
  • Experience with change management methodologies

Key Skills:

  • Strategic thinking and proactive planning
  • Strong risk management and mitigation
  • Contain scope creep through effective change management processes
  • Guide teams through conflict resolution and root cause analysis
  • Effective translation between technical and business stakeholders
  • Sufficient grasp of technical concepts within a SaaS company

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy
  • Capability to evaluate information and develop solutions for successful outcomes
  • For senior-level positions: ability to lead and mentor junior-level Program Managers

Performance Metrics: Success in this role will be measured by on-time project delivery, customer satisfaction scores, team performance, and adherence to quality standards.

Benefits eligibility may differ depending on full-time or part-time status. Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $70,000 - $85,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
