Job Description:

The Global Process Specialist assists with the review, evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of improvements to processes that support internal and external customers. He/She monitors the health of assigned processes, programs, policies, systems and tools to identify areas of process improvement. This position assists with the research, evaluation, development and implementation of solutions to eliminate identified issues. The Global Process Specialist collaborates with UPS systems groups and other internal customers in the deployment of new processes and streamlining current processes.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment, collaborating with product owners, technology teams, and business stakeholders

  • Experience writing and refining user stories, including acceptance criteria, and supporting backlog grooming and sprint activities

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to investigate process or system issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions

  • Hands-on experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario development, execution, defect tracking, and validation of business requirements

  • Ability to monitor the health of processes, programs, policies, systems, and tools to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Experience supporting the deployment of new processes and enhancements to existing workflows in partnership with systems and technology teams

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with claims-related processes and applications

  • Experience supporting global or enterprise-scale process change initiatives

  • Experience with SQL and Power BI

OTHER CRITERIA:

  • This job is a grade 10D.

  • Hours of Operation are subject to change: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST.

  • Position is REMOTE.

  • No Relocation assistance offered.

  • Employer will not sponsor visas for position.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year to $80,000/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
