We are seeking an experienced Mid Technical Business Analyst to join our proactive and dynamic team. Reporting to the Associate Director of Data IT Product Management, the Technical Business Analyst (TBA) is responsible for bridging business needs and technical execution across the Data & Analytics organization. This role works closely with analytics data teams, customer engagement teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into clear technical documentation, support data mapping initiatives, and ensure the successful delivery of reporting and analytics solutions.
The TBA plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making by ensuring requirements are well-defined, solutions are user-centric, and deliverables meet both business and technical expectations.
Position Title: Mid Technical Business Analyst
Location: Remote - LATAM
What you will be doing:
Collaborate with analytics data teams and customer engagement teams to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and functional documentation for development teams.
Partner with data engineers and analysts to support data mapping, data validation, and data quality initiatives.
Create process flows, data flow diagrams, and documentation to support development and reporting efforts.
Assist in backlog creation and refinement by working with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and development teams.
Support wireframing and solution design using tools such as Figma or similar platforms.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews as needed.
Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and documentation to communicate project status, insights, and outcomes.
Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvement within data and analytics workflows.
Ensure delivered solutions align with business goals, data governance standards, and best practices.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst, preferably in a data or analytics environment.
Experience working with data teams, reporting, and analytics solutions.
Strong understanding of data mapping, data modeling concepts, and data flows.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working within Scrum teams.
Experience creating technical documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Hands-on experience with wireframing tools, Figma preferred.
Experience supporting UAT and end-user validation processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with tools such as SQL, Excel, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar is preferred.
Healthcare industry experience, nice to have, not required.
