The Field Scientific Associate Director (FSAD) is a field-facing, scientific leader operating across multiple therapeutic areas within the US Medical Next Gen Immunology Franchise, integrating cross‑discipline insights to shape US immunology care at scale. The FSAD drives a scientific engagement strategy using AI‑enabled analytics, digital platforms, and innovative field medical programming to deliver high‑impact scientific exchange and stakeholder experiences across Dermatology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Allergy, Pulmonology, Neurology and broader immunology conditions.
As a central connector across TAs, the FSAD supports and harmonizes scientific approaches that accelerate cross‑portfolio understanding, anticipate ecosystem shifts, and unify priority scientific narratives—bridging the gap between real‑world practice patterns and strategic imperatives of the Next Gen Immunology Franchise.
This position reports to the US Medical Director, Next Gen Immunology Franchise.

Main Job Responsibilities:
Execute Next Gen Immunology cross-portfolio engagement plans with field and HQ partners that inform US medical priorities and support launch readiness for first/best-in-class therapies.
Use CRM insights and reports to prioritize initiatives, time engagements, and tailor content; demonstrate proficiency with Sanofi’s Scientific Engagement Model (SEM) to shape the external ecosystem.
Gather, collate, and disseminate cross-TA clinical insights; translate patterns into strategic recommendations for the Next Gen Immunology Franchise team.
Deploy innovative digital channels to expand reach, enhance scientific depth, and improve continuity of HCP engagement.
Build advocacy and prepare the landscape for launch through appropriate engagement with key decision-makers and experts.
Contribute to US medical plans, adapt/create field scientific materials (MMRC-reviewed), support advisory activities, and coordinate congress execution with internal partners.
Champion cross-TA field innovation and field excellence initiatives to differentiate Sanofi’s medical education offering with a focus on KOLs, high burden HCPs, and APPs.
Collaborate and drive the development and management of Next Gen Immunology strategic and innovative educational content and programs across TAs and track Next Gen Immunology educational program metrics (reach, quality, impact) using CRM and analytics to continuously improve stakeholder programming.
Implement medical modernization initiatives, including digital and AI tools for the US field teams.
Serve as an AI champion for Next Gen Immunology Franchise across TAs, driving innovative digital initiatives, enhancing our online presence to improve our engagement with healthcare providers, streamline communication and amplify the impact of our educational resources and programs.
Ensure glocal strategic alignment by collaborating with appropriate Global Medical stakeholders.
Operationalize Next Gen Immunology Franchise omnichannel strategies, including digital and AI tools for the US field teams to synergize and reduce duplication across Specialty care Medical.
Support excellence of MSL content/resource development and management by integrating with work teams and collaborating with relevant internal stakeholders.
Develop, implement, and manage analytical reports demonstrating the impact of strategic educational resources.
Manage global hub resources for projects and content creation.
About You:
Basic Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (PharmD, MD, PhD, or advanced healthcare degree in life sciences)
5+ years of professional experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
Medical Affairs experience with focus on Immunology therapeutic areas.
Hands-on experience developing and implementing medical education programs.
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in highly matrixed, cross-functional therapeutic area (TA) environments.
Proficiency with analytics dashboards and data visualization tools
Experience with AI-enabled platforms and digital health technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical, and project management skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in a global matrix environment managing multiple projects simultaneously with agility and adaptability.
Consistent demonstration of Take the Lead behaviors
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and leadership interaction.

The salary range for this position is:
