Roles & Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of experience in dental claims, provider relations, dental recruitment, or other dental industry roles.
  • Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and drive results; a self-starter who collaborates effectively in team or independent settings.

Requirements:

  • Manage PPO and DHMO recruitment efforts within the assigned territory and assist in network retention.
  • Negotiate fee schedules using market data to improve Guardian's effective discounts and increase utilization.
  • Engage with dentists and decision makers to articulate the value of network participation, influence stakeholders, and overcome objections.
  • Ensure application submissions for participation are complete and processed in a timely manner; log activities in Salesforce and use Microsoft Office and other internal systems.

Job description

Position Summary

Do you challenge the status quo? Are you looking for new ways to grow and implement the established network strategy for access and discounts to expand Guardian’s dental networks and its subsidiaries? Be a part of a team that actively recruits and contracts dentists for Guardian’s dental networks to ensure the continued growth of Guardian’s dental products through the strength of its networks and service offering. Increase the number of dentists in the networks to maximize the gross adds, competitive rank, and overall value that Guardian Dental can add to existing and prospective clients/constituents.

You are

  • An experienced dental industry professional.
  • A self-starter who is fueled by collaboration.
  • Able to analyze situations and strategize, as well as provide subject matter expertise, analysis, and action.
  • Proficient in handling multiple tasks, responding to shifting priorities to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Able to work effectively in both a team environment and independently to achieve individual and team goals.

You have

  • 5+ years in dental claims, provider relations, dental recruitment, or other dental industry experience.
  • The ability to analyze and strategize recruitment opportunities.
  • Proven negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and negotiation skills. 
  • The ability to accelerate impact and lead change.
  • Time management skills.

You will

  • Manage PPO and DHMO recruitment efforts within your assigned territory as well as assist in network retention.
  • Work to improve Guardian’s effective discount by using market data to negotiate fee schedules and increasing utilization.
  • Speak to dentists/decision makers on the value of network participation to encourage them to make well informed decisions.
  • Influence key stakeholders and overcome their objections. 
  • Work to ensure applications submitted for participation are complete in order to be processed in a timely fashion.
  • Log activities in Salesforce and use Microsoft Office products and other internal systems.
  • Interact effectively with other recruiters, provider relations representatives, the DSO support team, network business analysts, and other internal partners to achieve objectives.

Location

  • This is a remote opportunity for an individual that preferably lives in Houston TX, or surrounding areas.

Travel

  • 5% - 20% of travel potentially required for this role.

Salary Range:

$68,970.00 - $113,310.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
