Staff Systems Engineer

Job Description:

What you’ll get to do:

• Manage application packaging, deploying, patching and updating for MacOS and Windows applications via Mobile Device Management platforms (Jamf / Intune)
• Establish standards and guidelines to manage deployment/patching/upgrading of Apple and Microsoft operating systems
• Design, Implement, Maintain and Support SaaS applications and integrations between SaaS applications (Okta, Google, Mimecast, Box, RingCentral, etc.)
• Implement and Manage automation scripts via Okta Workflow, Bettercloud Workflows, Python/Shell Scripting
• Manage virtualized computing environment within Amazon AWS
• Resolve and be the escalation point to resolve internal customer issues
• Recommend and/or perform upgrades on desktop/laptop systems to ensure uptime
• Collaborate with vendors and business stakeholders to provide solutions for technical challenges
• Ensure all approved desktops, laptops and peripheral hardware are accurately inventoried and correctly assigned to help with the asset management lifecycle

You should apply if you have most of these:

• Experience in Mobile Device Management via Jamf and Intune
• Understanding of SaaS Application operations and integrations (e.g. Okta administration experience)
• Ability to create and manage automation via scripting (Okta Workflow, Bettercloud Workflows, Python/Shell Scripting)
• Ability to diagnose hardware and software issues on Apple/Lenovo/Dell/Microsoft devices running macOS and Microsoft Windows
• Experience with email security system administration/troubleshooting (e.g. Mimecast)
• Ability to troubleshoot basic computer connectivity (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS), software, and printing problems
• Experience in identity/access management using OKTA/similar identity providers
• Analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; ability to learn new systems/tools quickly
• Ability to lift and handle packages/hardware (laptops, monitors, etc.)
• 7+ years experience in IT
