Senior Software Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer IV for a 100% Remote, 6 month +, 1099 contract

No 3rd Party C2Cs Please.

Location: Colombia, South America (work remote supporting US based client/project)

Employment Type: Contract Work, 40 hours weekly

100% Requirement: Must have good verbal & written communication (English)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer IV to lead technical initiatives, tackle complex engineering challenges, and provide mentorship to the team. This role requires expertise in software development, leadership in driving projects, and the ability to design scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

In This Role You Will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver project requirements
• Ensure engineering best practices are followed throughout development
• Contribute to system architecture and design discussions

Credentials and Experience:

• Proficiency in backend development using Python, SQL, MongoDB and AWS
• Preference for engineers with full-stack proficiency, particularly in Vue.js
• Extensive experience designing and implementing scalable software solutions
• Strong expertise in software development methodologies and best practices
• Experience leading teams and managing software projects
