Role Summary
The Senior Data Scientist develops and deploys advanced analytics and machine learning solutions on Azure, with a focus on image processing and computer vision use cases. The role combines modeling, experimentation, and production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and deploy ML and CV models using Python.
- Work on image processing use cases (classification, detection, anomaly detection).
- Perform feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers on scalable ML pipelines.
- Deploy models using Azure ML and Databricks.
- Communicate insights and results to technical and business stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in data science or applied ML.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on image processing / computer vision experience.
- Strong Python skills and ML libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn).
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure ML and/or Databricks.
- Solid understanding of statistics and model evaluation.
- Nice to Have: Exposure to Foundry, Experience deploying CV models to production, Familiarity with MLOps concepts.
