You will lead the development of messaging, manage campaigns focused on reputation and awareness, and ensure effective, audience-relevant communications that strengthen understanding of CIS’s value among SLTT organizations and the broader cybersecurity ecosystem.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and internal/external stakeholders to amplify key initiatives across media, digital channels, and public‑sector communications opportunities

  • Support national and trade media outreach through content development (pitches, press materials, briefing documents), in partnership with Communications leadership

  • Work closely with internal leaders, product marketing managers, program owners, SLTT engagement teams, and MS-/EI-ISAC representatives to inform and refine communications strategies

  • Partner on targeted audience segmentation and persona development to ensure communications resonate with SLTT decision-makers and practitioners

  • Contribute to the development of standardized presentation materials for external events, ensuring high-quality narrative and visual clarity

  • Identify, cultivate, and leverage third‑party advocacy voices — including SLTT members, partners, and independent experts — to develop testimonials, case studies, quotes, and other supporting materials that strengthen CIS’s credibility and reputation within the SLTT community

  • Support continuous improvement of MS-/EI-ISAC member communications by contributing to more streamlined, timely, and audience-relevant messaging across touchpoints

  • Provide content for the CIS Portal and assist in shaping a consistent member experience

  • Develop social media copy and support SLTT‑focused social media engagement strategies, including crafting platform‑specific posts, amplifying key initiatives through social channels, and collaborating with Communications and Marketing partners to optimize reach and engagement

  • Conduct research to support messaging, campaign development, and thought leadership

  • Assist with media training preparations and communications guidance for internal subject-matter experts

  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

  • Experience collaborating across diverse stakeholder groups and managing projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
