This is a remote position.

Client is redeveloping the provincial K-12 digital curriculum platform (LearnAlberta) and requires one Full Stack Developer resource to support an ongoing cloud-based Agile development environment. The selected resource will contribute to building and maintaining scalable digital curriculum applications used across Alberta’s education ecosystem.

The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver front-end and back-end web solutions, support cloud-native serverless application development, and ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability. The role involves building new functionality, maintaining legacy systems, supporting architecture decisions, and contributing to CI/CD automation and testing strategies.

The resource may work remotely, with occasional on-site presence in Edmonton, Alberta if required. Expected commitment is minimum 7 hours per business day.

Mandatory Requirements (Must Have)

Candidates must meet all mandatory criteria:

Education + Experience

Either:

• Degree or 2-year diploma in Computer Science (or related) + 5 years experience
  

OR

• 1-year certificate + 7 years experience
  

Technical Experience

Minimum:

• 5 years experience
  
  • C# and/or Java development
    
• 3 years experience
  
  • AWS development projects
    
• 3 years experience
  
  • Angular (v2+) and/or React development.
