Position Summary:
About the Role
Under the direction of the Manager of Revenue Cycle Analytics & Revenue the Business Analyst position will be responsible for measuring, analyzing, and evaluating data to assist in identifying process improvement and performance opportunities. The role requires strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills. A key responsibility includes interactions with key stakeholders and the ability to document and translate business functions’ needs into meaningful workflows and performance measures.
This role requires strong skills in MS Office, with an emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs. This position is a 100% remote work opportunity. Proof of residency is required in one of the following States (Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Ohio, Michigan, or Florida).
The successful candidate will be able to perform the following responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other solutions using tools available.
- Perform data extractions from various internal and external sites with concentrated focus on maintaining data integrity and integration into existing tools.
- Create, implement, and communicate metrics which will measure data integrity and indicate opportunities for process improvements.
- Documents workflows and assists periodic assessments to ensure efficient processes.
- Analyzes and evaluates information gathered from multiple sources and synthesizes into actionable information
- Manages reconciliation for a wide variety of projects. Plays key role in developing reconciliation policies.
- Assists in driving the consolidation, standardization and consistency of reporting and analytics across multiple businesses and departments
- Performs random audits of standard reports and performance measures for all areas of responsibility.
- Building on current reporting to provide further intelligence for performance optimization and efficiencies.
- Maintains good interpersonal relationships with stakeholders internal and external to the department.
- Provides feedback to assist NeighborHealth management in developing strategies to improve financial service operations.
- Performs other related duties.

What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1 - 3 years - Proven experience and strong skillset working with MS Office, with emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint programs
- 1 - 3 years - Experience in maintaining reporting, analytics, and large data file integrity.
- Strong process, data, and systems analytical skills required
- Ability to perform root cause analysis
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Displays a can-do attitude at all times, takes action on important issues in a timely manner and pursues new opportunities when they arise.
- Quickly adapts to a diverse array of changing needs, conditions, priorities, or opportunities.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- This position operates in a professional office and clinic environment.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing administrative and computer-based tasks.
- Occasionally required to lift or move items weighing up to 20 pounds (such as files, office supplies, or small equipment).
- Must have adequate visual acuity, hearing, and manual dexterity to perform essential job functions.
- May occasionally move between clinic and administrative areas and be exposed to a typical clinical setting.
- Expected to follow all NeighborHealth and OSHA safety policies and procedures, including maintaining a safe and ergonomic work environment.
Pay range
Starts at $34 up to $53 based on experience
