We are currently looking for a EPIC/CERNER Integration / Interface Engineer, to become a valuable addition to our dynamic team!
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain interfaces between EPIC/Cerner and external systems (EHRs, labs, billing, third-party applications).
Configure and support integration engines.
Build and manage HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data integrations.
Monitor interface performance and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery.
Troubleshoot interface failures, message errors, and connectivity issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for integration issues.
Collaborate with application analysts, vendors, and external partners to define interface requirements.
Support system upgrades, migrations, and new interface implementations.
Maintain detailed documentation for interfaces, data mappings, and workflows.
Ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability standards and data security regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
4–6+ years of experience in healthcare integrations (EPIC and/or Cerner preferred).
Strong experience with integration engines (Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Mirth Connect).
Solid knowledge of HL7 v2.x messaging (ADT, ORM, ORU, etc.).
Experience with FHIR APIs, Mirth and RESTful services.
Proficiency in scripting or programming (Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar).
Experience with data mapping, transformations, and interface troubleshooting.
Understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and secure data exchange protocols (SFTP, HTTPS).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
EPIC Bridges or Cerner interface certifications (preferred).
Advanced English proficiency skills (C1) required.
Must have experience working for US clients
