Our platform helps companies increase customer satisfaction, reduce churn, and create customers for life. We combine Customer Support, Success, Engagement, and Analytics into one powerful solution so companies can know, support, and grow their customer relationships.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for TeamSupport’s Sales team, you will directly influence sales success and company growth. In this role, you will identify and lead prospects through the early stages of the buyer’s journey by creating awareness and providing education. This role requires a driven individual with a passion for growing companies, creativity, articulate professionalism, and the ability to understand client pain points and how our solutions address them.

We are a remote-first, global company with team members across the U.S., Europe, and South Africa. As a small team, everyone has meaningful ownership, direct access to leadership, and the opportunity to make a real impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospecting: Identify potential clients through research, cold calling, networking, and system-generated leads.
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify leads based on specific criteria to ensure they align with our target customer profile.
  • Initial Contact: Contact prospective clients to introduce TeamSupport’s products/services and understand their needs.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or demos with qualified leads for the Account Executive.
  • Product Knowledge: Learn and apply knowledge of TeamSupport product features to match the needs of potential clients.
  • Inquiry Response: Answer inquiries from prospects concerning products, their uses, and industry information.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective lead generation and conversion strategies.
  • Reporting: Periodically prepare and report results, status of accounts, and leads to the manager.
  • Goal Achievement: Maintain monthly goals and quotas.
Requirements

  • Sales Skills: Confident in cold calling and excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Tech-Savvy: Ability to grasp new technologies and software; proficiency with Google platform, Salesforce, SalesLoft, Seamless.ai, and RingCentral is a plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends to identify potential opportunities.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized with attention to detail.

Compensation

Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
