As we continue to grow our teams, we urge you to be cautious of fraudulent job postings or recruitment activities that misuse our company name and information. Please protect your personal information during any recruitment process. The Role

We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Full Stack Engineer with a proactive, "gets-it-done" attitude to be a foundational member of a new team. You will be instrumental in building the code that brings this new product to life.

This role is for a true builder who thrives on ambiguity, loves to tackle "0-to-1" challenges, and can own complex features from the database all the way to the UI. You will be a key technical voice, collaborating directly with product management and other senior engineers to define and deliver on our vision.

What You'll Do

  • Build from Scratch: Write high-quality, maintainable code for both the backend (Python) and frontend (React), working in a balanced 50/50 split, with a strong focus on rapid iteration and MVP delivery.
  • Prototype & Iterate: Design and ship lightweight backend services and APIs quickly, avoiding over-engineering while maintaining code quality and scalability where needed.
  • Collaborate on Architecture: Work closely with Staff Engineers and Product Managers to define and refine system architecture, making pragmatic technical decisions aligned with product maturity.
  • Own the Lifecycle: Design, develop, test, and maintain new features from concept to production.
  • Champion Quality: Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.
  • Collaborate Broadly: Work closely with Product Managers to refine requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Thrive in Ambiguity: Excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where requirements may be incomplete, priorities can shift quickly, and proactive problem-solving is essential.

What You Bring (Must-Haves)

  • Extensive Experience: 8+ years (14+ preferred) of professional software development experience building complex, large-scale applications.
  • Proactive & Problem-Solving Mindset: A "gets-it-done" attitude is your most critical soft skill. You are a self-starter who identifies problems, researches solutions, and executes efficiently.
  • Backend Expertise:
3+ years of strong, professional Python experience in a production environment, building robust APIs and backend services.
Experience designing lightweight, scalable APIs for rapid product iteration.
Strong understanding of RESTful design, web architecture, and backend best practices.
  • Frontend Expertise:
3+ years of strong, professional React experience, with a deep understanding of the modern React ecosystem, including state management, UI libraries, frameworks, and testing.
  • Rapid Learning Ability: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies in innovation-driven environments.
  • Commitment to Testing: A non-negotiable belief in the importance of comprehensive testing.
  • Excellent Communication: The ability to articulate complex technical ideas clearly in both written (async) and verbal contexts, including client-facing discussions.

What We'd Love to See (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Proven experience leading or co-leading system architecture decisions.
  • Experience with both relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Professional experience with Node.js / TypeScript for backend services.
  • Experience working in prototyping, innovation, or early-stage product environments.
