  • Financial Modeling and Forecasting: build, improve, and own the company's three-statement financial model, including core assumptions, quality, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Budgeting and Planning: lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to align financial goals with strategic priorities
  • Key Metric Reporting and Strategic Insights: monitor and communicate KPIs to executives; provide data-driven insights to drive growth and identify risks and opportunities
  • Strategic Partnership and Analytics for GTM: act as a strategic advisor with ad-hoc analyses; support go-to-market with cost and margin analysis for pricing decisions on new product launches and large contracts

About the role:

Socure is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Manager of FP&A. This critical role will partner with executive leaders across the company to lead expense budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate and insightful analyses, supporting strategic decision-making processes, and optimizing financial performance. We are looking for an individual that thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about financial modeling, building a business, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling and Forecasting: build, improve, and own the company's three-statement financial model. Responsible for the models’ core assumptions, quality, accuracy, and timeliness.

  • Budgeting & Planning: lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to align financial goals with strategic priorities.

  • Key Metric Reporting: monitor and communicate key performance indicators to executives across the company. Provide insights and recommendations to drive growth and efficiency while identifying risks & opportunities.

  • Strategic Partnership: act as a strategic advisor to the business by providing ad-hoc data-driven analysis and action plans. Support the go-to-market team with cost and margin analysis to inform pricing decisions for new product launches and large enterprise contracts.

  • Project Management and Automation: take a proactive approach to enhance processes across FP&A, accounting, people team, and business operations. Partner with business operations to automate analyses and forecasts in our BI tools to enable scalability and real-time reporting to business leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar quantitative discipline

  • 7+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or FP&A at a high growth tech company.

  • Ability to work 100% remotely.

  • Extensive financial modeling experience.

  • Exhibit a strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency and ability to deliver results within tight deadlines.

  • Display a high level of curiosity and desire to understand the business at a deep level.

  • Strong quantitative skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
