  • Collaborate with U.S.-based teams to adapt global playbooks to the India market and leverage AI tools to enhance sourcing, evaluation, and operations.

About the Job:

As Director of Platform, you will play a pivotal role in identifying exceptional founders for Redesign Health to partner with and build our presence in India. This strategic, hands-on position directly impacts patient outcomes, as well as the growth and success of Redesign and its founders.

Your responsibilities will span four key areas:

  1. Attract, Engage with, and Assess High-Quality Founders: Create a system to identify top-tier founding talent for transformative healthcare ventures and to enable all the India team to source founders.

  2. Continued Founder Network Development: Establish and grow a robust talent ecosystem for portfolio companies.

  3. Building a robust brand through marketing and communications activities that reliably produce traction and founders.

  4. Manage the founder platform and experience for founders leading the strategic support services Redesign Health provides to its portfolio companies.

Redesign health is an AI native company, we expect you to leverage AI skills to support you with the above responsibilities.

You will also contribute to building the operations and culture of our India innovation platform. You’ll collaborate with U.S.-based counterparts, leverage Redesign’s existing infrastructure and playbooks, and adapt strategies to the India market.

What you’ll do:

Attract, Engage With, and Assess High-Quality Founders

  • Design and implement a comprehensive founder sourcing strategy that addresses the needs of our founder ecosystem engaging the India fund team to source founders, laying the foundation for a thriving RH India Founder Ecosystem.

  • Attract, engage with, and assess top founders by leveraging innovative sourcing strategies, targeted outreach, and competency-based evaluation frameworks.

  • Build and maintain a positive, professional founder journey that reflects Redesign Health’s values and mission, ensuring every founder interaction reinforces the organization's reputation and appeal.

Continued Founder Network Development

  • Proactively engage with founder talent through networking, relationship-building, campus partners, and community engagement efforts to identify and nurture future partners.

  • Cultivate Redesign Health’s reputation as the leading healthcare venture firm in India by crafting a compelling brand narrative that resonates with top founder talent and startup executives.

  • Provide regular updates and insights to Redesign Health leadership, offering transparency on recruitment progress, challenges, and emerging opportunities to ensure alignment and strategic decision-making.

What you’ll need:

  • 8+ years of experience, ideally in venture capital or 0-1 startup, with a proven ability to identify and connect with startup founders, preferably in an international context.

  • Strong understanding of the Indian startup talent market and cultural nuances.

  • Excellent founder identification, engagement, and assessment skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience working in a start-up or high-growth company is a plus.

  • Fully fluent in English.
