Job description

This is a remote position.

ColoWrap Clinical Educator

ColoWrap is an early-stage medical device company focused on improving the delivery of colonoscopy by addressing one of the most persistent procedural challenges in GI care—looping. Our product is
designed for clinicians who understand colonoscopy mechanics deeply and are motivated to improve efficiency, consistency, and patient experience at scale.

We are a founder-led organization building with intention: grounded in clinical reality, guided by evidence, and committed to advancing better standards of care. As we grow, we are seeking experienced GI nurses who are ready to expand beyond unit-based leadership and education roles into a broader clinical influence position.

The ColoWrap Clinical Educator role is ideal for clinicians who have led training, influenced practice change, partnered with physicians, or driven adoption of new approaches within endoscopy units—and who now want to apply those skills on a wider stage. In this role, you will leverage your clinical credibility to guide procedural education, support adoption of evidence-based techniques, and help shape how a new standard of care is introduced, adopted, and sustained.

At ColoWrap, Clinical Educators are not simply supporting a product. You are a trusted clinical partner to GI teams, a peer resource in the procedure room, and a key contributor to how our company—and the field—learns, improves, and evolves.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Education & Training
  • Deliver hands-on clinical and procedural training to clinicians across new and existing accounts
  • Drive evidence-based onboarding and adoption to ensure safe and confident product use
  • Adapt training approaches to different clinical environments and experience levels
  • Serve as an in-room clinical resource during GI procedures with ColoWrap
Account Management of Existing Customers
  • In this role you will own outcome goals for current ColoWrap accounts. To achieve these goals, you will leverage your clinical expertise to support successful adoption and use of ColoWrap. Your activities will include:
    • Providing follow-up education and best-practice reinforcement
    • Identifying patterns of adoption vs. resistance
    • Supporting clinical champions within accounts
    • Providing timely and effective field support during critical implementation moments
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Sales to support account growth while maintaining clinical integrity
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to inform training content, messaging, and launch readiness
  • Share actionable clinical insights from the field to influence product and strategy decisions
Early-Stage Execution & Ownership
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with limited structure
  • Take ownership of clinical education needs with minimal oversight
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities, products, and market dynamics
  • Represent the company professionally and credibly in all clinical settings
Content, Process & Scale
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of training materials and tools
  • Help establish repeatable, scalable approaches to clinical education as volume increases
  • Identify opportunities to improve training efficiency and consistency
Compliance & Professional Standards
  • Deliver education in alignment with regulatory, quality, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain appropriate documentation as required
  • Uphold ethical standards and prioritize patient safety at all times
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing degree
  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse (CGRN) or willingness to pursue certification within a defined timeframe
  • GI-specific experience in endoscopy or related settings
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50-75% of time)
  • Prior experience in clinical education, precepting, training, or medical device support a plus

 What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation, comprised of base salary and quarterly performance-based bonuses
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits; employee premiums 100% employer paid
  • Unlimited PTO policy
  • Career growth opportunities within a fast-growing, innovative Company
  • Ongoing professional development and training
  • Opportunity to earn equity-based compensation
