We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 5–8 years of experience to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of our applications and services.
The role involves working closely with developers, architects, and QA teams to streamline releases, improve reliability, and support critical production systems.
Core Competencies
- Infrastructure & Cloud Operations
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.).
- Proven ability to design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Experience managing EKS/Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads.
- Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code deployments.
- CI/CD & Automation
- Expertise in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
- Experience automating application deployments, monitoring, and scaling.
- Knowledge of observability, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Databases & Caching
- Experience managing Cassandra, Kafka, and Redis clusters.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize database and cache performance.
- Security & Networking
- Familiarity with Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, WAF, DDoS protection).
- Strong grasp of infrastructure security best practices (IAM, encryption, network policies).
- Collaboration & Support
- Effective communicator with strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to provide on-call production support and participate in incident response/root cause analysis.
Nice to Have
- Experience with monitoring tools such as NewRelic and Bugsnag.
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for AWS.
- Familiarity with service meshes (Istio/Linkerd) and secrets management tools (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
- Exposure to compliance/security standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
