Roles & Responsibilities

  • 7+ years of experience in US Healthcare RCM focusing on posting transactions and AR follow-up
  • Thorough understanding of the provider claim life cycle
  • Thorough knowledge of major insurance payers and common denials
  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor

Requirements:

  • Lead and manage a team of AR Analysts; oversee day-to-day operations and ensure production and quality standards
  • Document and publish the team's production and quality metrics; monitor performance and report on key metrics; provide coaching and feedback
  • Foster an engaging, open communication environment; set clear team goals; delegate tasks with deadlines; resolve conflicts
  • Identify training needs, recognize high performers, organize team-building activities, and monitor attendance to ensure optimal staffing

Team Leader RCM Operations

- Manage a team of AR Analysts.
- Work with the team to maintain production and quality standards.
- Document and publish the team's production and quality numbers.
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
- Set clear team goals
- Delegate tasks and set deadlines
- Oversee day-to-day operation
- Monitor team performance and report on metrics
- Motivate team members
- Discover training needs and provide coaching
- Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
- Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments
- Encourage creativity and risk-taking
- Suggest and organize team building activities
- Monitor and manage team attendance to ensure optimal staff is available.
Requirements:
- 7+ Years of experience in US Healthcare RCM in posting transactions and AR Follow-up.
- Should have a thorough understanding of Provider claim life cycle.
- Must have thorough knowledge of major insurance payers.
- Must have thorough knowledge of common denials.
- Must know standard practices of RCM.
- Must have understanding of common acronyms and nomenclature in US Healthcare.
- Should have excellent written and communication skills in English. Good grammar is a must.
- Must have thorough knowledge of common CPT codes, transaction codes and reason codes.
- Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
- In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
- Good PC skills, especially MS Excel
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Decision-making skills
