  • Compile and review statistical data, perform detailed analyses, and prepare recommendations for system or process changes

Pay Range

$38.20 - $57.30

Data Analysis or statistics experience required along with related college degree for the Teammate Health & Safety Data Insights Analyst position.

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Educational Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or Data Analytics. *(See preferred education below.)

Experience Required:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling and analysis techniques. 

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Teams, PowerPoint and Excel. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Utilize statistical tools and methods to assess quality performance metrics and determine adequate metric definition based on data and process knowledge. 

  • Develop, document, and prepare data analytics reports, dashboards, regulatory documents. 

  • Develop standardized reporting and implement procedures to promote compliance. 

  • Develop presentations for organizational leaders. 

  • Manages and promotes data driven decision making for new ideas, trends, and concepts.   

  • Analyze data gathered, develop information and identify opportunities for countermeasures to correct deficiencies. 

  • Organizes and documents findings of studies and prepares recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures or organizational changes.  

  • Compile and review statistical data necessary in determining trends. 

  • Prepare detailed analysis and compare to established benchmarks. 

  • Coordinate collection, organization, and analysis of information, and corrective actions as applicable. 

  • Support leadership in the design, development, and implementation of processes to meet current and future analytics needs. 

  • Maintain proficiency in statistical techniques, programming, and data management best practices. 

  • Document processes around data collection and reporting. 

  • Generate all documents and submit reporting as required by regulatory and accreditation agencies. 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Travel on an as need basis to Advocate Facilities across the market for training or in-person meetings.  Position may require up to 10% travel locally within market. May be exposed to road and weather hazards. 

*Preferred Job Requirements for Success

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Data Analytics preferred.

  • 5+ years preferred.

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting. 

  • Experience communicating and working with regulatory agencies 

  • Experience with Origami, Power BI and other analytics / reporting platforms
