Job Overview
We are seeking a Commercial Insurance Assistant to support Commercial Account Managers and Sales Leads in delivering high-quality service to clients. This role involves assisting with account management, quoting, policy processing, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Manila time)
  • Holiday: Will follow US holidays


Responsibilities

  • Support account management activities, including preparation of commercial proposals and creation of certificates.
  • Maintain organized client files and documentation.
  • Assist in quoting and bind preparation, including submissions to the commercial market.
  • Review quotes for discrepancies and communicate findings to Account Managers and Sales Leads.
  • Generate replacement cost evaluations, driving history reports, and finance agreements as required.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as email and SMS management, data entry, and policy checking.
  • Provide project and operational support to the team as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members through regular meetings and contribute to team discussions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and stay updated on industry trends, products, and regulatory changes.


Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and process accurate documentation.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup while maintaining collaboration with the team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, systems, and processes.


Nice to Have

  • Basic understanding of commercial insurance products (e.g., Property, Liability, Workers’ Compensation, EPLI, D&O, Auto, Marine).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Outlook, and NowCerts.
  • Experience in data entry, policy processing, or insurance-related roles.
