Job Description:
The Senior Digital Experience Manager will develop and lead a team of high performing digital experience and content management specialists, responsible for driving conversion and engagement through personalized site/app content. They will be responsible for creating and managing a content management team with processes that ensure operational excellence and optimized digital experiences. They should be experienced in monitoring performance of Digital Experience KPIs (CVR, AOV, Click thru, time on site, funnels) and sharing insights with key stakeholders to influence experience plans.
The Senior Digital Experience Manager is a highly visible role across the BJs organization and requires a candidate who can partner closely with cross functional partners and senior leaders in Digital, Merchandising and Marketing to expertly contribute insights and craft the digital experience strategy for merchandising and marketing initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a team of high performing digital experience and content management specialists that can effectively develop and execute creative digital experiences
- Partner with Marketing and Merchandising to produce integrated campaigns that will deliver an increase in conversion rates, overall order size and margin improvement.
- Proactively identify opportunities that drive KPIs; or identify gaps in digital/customer experience and partner with key stakeholders (including Product Management and Engineering) to prioritize opportunities that drive business value.
- Prioritize and manage key experience initiatives and drive the cross functional coordination necessary to drive those initiatives to success with clear and concise project schedules, plans and communications.
- Partner with Digital Marketing, Digital Creative and Digital Merchandising in the creation and execution of a Digital Campaign/Events Calendar.
- Define a robust personalization strategy and partner cross functionally to develop the operational processes to execute that strategy.
- Provide thought leadership and competitive analysis of digital experience innovation and process optimization.
- Responsible for the coaching and management of Digital Experience -Visual Experience team members.
- Monitor overall performance of Digital Experience KPIs and communicate performance, successes and resolutions to core stakeholders.
- Vendor relationship management and coordination of 3rd party vendor and offshore resources needed to drive the digital experience
Experience and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline; or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of ecommerce management or digital experience management within aggressive fast paced ecommerce environments
- 3+ years’ experience with Content Management Systems, e-commerce platforms and Responsive Web Design
- Strong analytic skills with 3+ years experience leveraging data to drive decisions and using site analytics tools (GA, Adobe) and other reporting tools; including the creation and communication of analytic reports.
- A passion for user experience and design
- Experience with digital personalization strategies, including targeted and segmented content
- Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills.
- Experience collaborating across multiple teams, including ecommerce, business and technology
- The ability to influence people to get things done even if you do not have direct authority them
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills is a must, including the ability to tailor communication style to different audiences, and to exercise good judgment in frequency and nature of communications to different parties (senior management, stakeholders, team members, etc.)

At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00
