The Director, Program Management will own the end-to-end delivery of cross-functional strategic initiatives and lead a team of program managers responsible for execution across the Bluehost Group. This role will translate executive strategy into scalable, actionable programs while building and maturing a high-performing program management function.
What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.
Program Leadership
- Lead large-scale, multi-quarter strategic programs across the organization
- Define scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success metrics to ensure successful delivery
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of program managers (typically 3–8)
- Establish clear goals, performance standards, and career development paths
- Build and scale a consistent program management function, including methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Drive hiring, onboarding, and capability development for the PMO
- Align resource allocation to support the highest-priority initiatives
Operating Model Execution
- Establish and run program cadences, including OKRs, QBRs, and executive reviews
- Drive accountability across cross-functional teams and escalate as needed
Strategic Translation
- Translate executive strategy into actionable roadmaps and program plans
- Align Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance around shared priorities
Financial & KPI Ownership
- Track ROI, costs, and overall business impact of initiatives
- Partner closely with Finance on forecasting, planning, and investment decisions
Stakeholder Management
- Deliver clear, concise executive reporting and decision support
- Influence senior leaders and stakeholders without direct authority
Risk & Dependency Management
- Identify risks early and drive proactive mitigation strategies
- Manage cross-program dependencies across teams, platforms, and functions
Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.
- 10+ years of experience in program management, operations, or product strategy
- 3–5+ years of experience leading program managers or in a comparable leadership role
- Proven track record of scaling teams and improving execution maturity
- Strong financial, analytical, and operational acumen
- Excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder influence skills
