This role is suited for professionals with experience in designing excellent supply chain solutions; from the initial idea to the successful ramp-up of complex logistics systems. The position will provide insight into various industries and work with a strong team in an international environment. Approximately 40-60% domestic and international travel are required. Working remotely is possible. In this role you will be contributing to the expansion of our Benelux office by providing your valuable expertise.
As a Senior Consultant in Material Flow Engineering your tasks will include:
Analyze material flow and inventory data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess warehouse and logistics performance.
Lead and execute intralogistics projects from concept to implementation.
Design and optimize material flow systems, including manual, semi-automated, and fully automated solutions.
Support tender processes and vendor selection.
Evaluate warehouse management systems (WMS) and material flow control systems (MFC).
Advise clients on Industry 4.0 solutions such as digital twins, AI, and predictive analytics.
Coordinate with equipment suppliers and technology providers to ensure seamless integration.
Act as a trusted advisor for clients, guiding them in strategic decision-making.
Conduct workshops and training sessions on logistics trends and best practices.
Ensure designs comply with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations.
Incorporate sustainability and energy efficiency into material flow solutions.
