Roles & Responsibilities

  • 4+ years of proven experience in test automation framework design and implementation.
  • Proficient in Cypress or Selenium with Java.
  • Experience with REST API testing using JSON/XML.
  • Experience in developing Selenium automation frameworks from scratch, including Page Object Model (POM), data-driven and hybrid frameworks, TestNG, Maven, and Jenkins.

Requirements:

  • Identify areas and test cases suitable for automation.
  • Create reusable components and enhance test scripts using element locators, WebDriver methods, Java concepts and TestNG annotations.
  • Develop and maintain Selenium/Cypress automation framework from scratch (POM, data-driven/hybrid) and support continued automation improvements.
  • Integrate with CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins), enable parallel test execution with Selenium Grid, and perform regression testing with reporting.

Minimum 4 years of proven experience in Test Automation framework, Design, and Implementation.

Must be proficient in Cypress/ Selenium and JAVA.

Experience with REST API testing using JSON/XML

Identifying Areas/Test cases for Automation

Well versed with API automated testing frameworks

Should have strong experience on Data Driven and Hybrid Frameworks

Experience in developing Selenium automation framework from scratch

Experience in Page Object Model (POM).

Creating reusable components

Creating and enhancing Test Scripts using Element locators, WebDriver methods,Java programming concepts and TestNG Annotations

TestNG Framework for Grouping Test Cases, Prioritizing Test Cases, Executing Test Batches and Generating Test Results

Finding solutions for Object Identification issues and error handling issues

Creating, Enhancing, debugging and Running Test Cases

Handling changes and conducting Regression Testing

Experience in Maven Integration for creating and maintaining Selenium Test Environment

Experience in Jenkins for Continuous Integration/Development.

Parallel Test execution with Selenium Grid

Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
