5-10+ years of transmission power market experience focused on production cost modeling, economic planning, or transmission market operations (Technical Leadership or Principal role)
AURORA power market modelling experience is ideal; familiarity with PROMOD, PLEXOS, GridView, and UPLAN considered
Experience with analysis types such as capacity prices, regional energy pricing, congestion and curtailment, transmission constraints, interconnection assessments, LMPs, and regional supply and demand curves
Strong automation and data skills in Excel, VBA, SQL, Python, MATLAB; data visualization experience (PowerBI) is a plus
Requirements:

The Lead Market Analyst role is a highly technical LEAD position that will drive transmission zonal and nodal production cost modeling efforts to support the commercial strategy of utility-scale renewable energy projects across all ISO / RTO markets in the United States. QUALIFICATIONS:
5-10+ Years transmission power market experience focused on production cost modeling, economic planning, or transmission market operations experience in Technical Leadership or Principal role
AURORA power market modelling experience is ideal but similar programs like PROMOD, PLEXOS, GridView, and UPLAN will also be considered
Must have experience with various types of analysis - capacity prices, regional energy pricing, congestion and curtailment analysis, transmission constraints, interconnection assessments, LMPs, and/or regional supply and demand curves
Data Visualization experience in tools like PowerBI are HUGE PLUS
Hands-on experience or solid understanding of transmission topology
Must have an understanding of national energy markets and renewable energy portfolios (PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, and CAISO)
Experience and strong automation skills in Excel, VBA, SQL, Python, MATLAB
Any battery storage or large scale renewable energy (solar, wind, hydrogen) experience is a HUGE PLUS
