As a part-time AAA Roadside Assistance Dispatcher, you’ll provide critical support to members by coordinating drivers across multiple states in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. Using advanced technology and comprehensive training, you’ll help ensure safety, peace of mind, and deliver legendary service.
Starting Pay: $19.85/hour
Schedule: Part-time afternoon/evening shifts, including weekends & some holidays
Start Date: May 18, 2026
Training: Paid, onsite training located at 68 Marginal Way, Portland, ME
Remote Work: Opportunity to transition to work-from-home after an introductory period, subject to eligibility requirements and business needs

What You Will Do:
Use internal systems and technology to handle inbound and outbound calls and efficiently dispatch roadside assistance nationwide.
Coordinate emergency services including towing, locksmith support, fuel delivery, battery assistance, and minor mechanical help.
Assess member needs, prioritize safety, and accurately document information in real time.
Communicate professionally and compassionately, maintaining composure during high‑priority situations.
Collaborate with a network of 350+ independent service providers to share critical information and ensure timely service.
Monitor active service requests, keeping both providers and members informed of status updates.
Meet performance goals in a structured, metrics‑driven environment focused on member satisfaction.
Work-From-Home Requirements:
Dedicated, quiet workspace without interruptions.
You must have the ability to directly connect to ISP via Ethernet (No DSL, Satellite, Hot Spots, etc). Modem/Router must be in the same room as the computer equipment with a minimum of 25 mbps download and 5 mbps upload. A company-provided computer and partial internet reimbursement are included to support the reasonable cost of your connectivity.
Demonstrated ability to uphold productivity and confidentiality in a remote setting.
Regular attendance in virtual team meetings and training sessions.
Availability during standard business hours and flexibility for possible shift adjustments.
What You Will Need
Customer service and/or call center experience.
Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish, are a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to remain clear and professional under pressure.
Advanced computer and multitasking abilities, including talking and typing simultaneously while navigating multiple systems.
Working knowledge of maps, GPS navigation, and traffic safety guidelines.
Experience using SMS or chat tools in a professional setting.
Ability to demonstrate empathy and deliver excellent service in a high‑volume call environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
