Job Description:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Facilitating investigative work to identify multiple avenues for recovery and be creative with determining various theories of liability
Work with experts in building support for creative theories of liability
Identify, hire, and brief appropriate technical experts; provide the necessary data and evidence for their specialized case analysis
Work closely with attorneys to identify “knowledge gaps” in a case
Ensure all evidence is obtained and analyzed prior to spoliation
Conduct comprehensive field investigations, including incident site visits, evidence collection, photography, and securing surveillance footage
Manage and review all collected evidence to ensure it aligns with the overarching case strategy
Identify and interview witnesses to gather critical testimony regarding the incident
Supervise outside investigators for recorded statements or highly specialized investigative tasks.
Act as a point of contact for insurance adjusters to facilitate communication and information exchange
