Main Proposal

  • Drive sustainable and profitable sales development through market share gains, while also promoting new technologies that unlock new market opportunities for Wirtgen Group products.
  • Work collaboratively with dealers to improve the sales process by collecting feedback from customers, dealer employees, and OEMs responsible for the region.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, acting as the primary link between local customers, dealers, and our factories to align market needs with our growth strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular visits to key customers to monitor satisfaction and market trends, and define improvement plans with dealers to increase market share.
  • Manage dealers’ business plans by monitoring monthly KPIs and taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Provide support to dealers in complex sales involving low-volume and high-specification equipment, such as asphalt plants, slipform pavers, etc., leading the sales process when required.
  • Keep OEMs updated on local market conditions, competitor activities, pricing, and operational strategies, and suggest adjustments to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Promote and exemplify Wirtgen Group culture among distributor employees in our segment, fostering direct connections and ensuring they feel included and valued.

What Skills You Need

  • People and business leadership related to sales.
  • Experience across key business capabilities including strategy development, financial acumen, communication, change management, tactical planning, and sales execution.
  • Understanding of construction market, areas where Wirtgen products operate and competitive landscape, including other OEM's or service providers.
  • Building high performance teams through direct and indirect leadership.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Sales growth experience
  • Experience on Roadbuilding, Construction or Asphalt industries
  • B2B and/or B2C sales experience
  • Demonstrated customer first mindset
  • Extraordinary communication skills
  • Motivational leadership, change management, and business development experience

Education

 Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree plus relevant business experience
