Roles & Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of software quality assurance experience
  • Strong programming experience in Python with Selenium and JavaScript with Playwright
  • Experience with REST APIs and tools such as Swagger and Postman, and SQL relational databases
  • Experience with source control (Bitbucket/GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

  • Develop, execute, refactor and optimize automation scripts
  • Review, analyze and translate project requirements and product functionality into quality control artifacts
  • Prepare and acquire test data; log and evaluate results, documenting deviations from expected results
  • Ensure delivery and performance testing, provide measurements and general reports; collaborate with team and communicate with customers

Job description

ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is looking for a Strong Middle / Senior Automation Test Engineer (Python+JavaScript) in Ukraine, Poland, or Croatia.
 
ABOUT PROJECT
 
The project is a web-based platform for financial advisors.
The client portal allows advisors to control the user experience by enabling or disabling features and functionality for each client.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of software quality assurance experience
  • Strong programming experience in Python with Selenium, as well as experience in JavaScript with Playwright, is required
  • Understanding of code architecture best practices such as reusability, maintainability, scalability, and abstraction
  • Experience and understanding of source control (BitBucket/GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github Actions)
  • Experience working with REST APIs and usage of tools like Swagger and Postman
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases and capability to dig into and understand data
  • Familiarity and willingness to work with AI tools such as Copilot and Augment
  • A data driven and analytical approach to problem solving
  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
  • Excellent oral and written communication across disciplines and teams
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English

    • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be responsible for the delivery, performance testing, measurements, general reports, etc
  • Review, analyze and assess project requirements and specifications as well as product functionality to convert them into quality control process artifacts
  • Prepare and acquire test data
  • Develop, execute, refactor and optimize automation scripts
  • Log and evaluate results and document deviations from the expected results
  • Understand Business Requirements and design architecture according to business needs
  • Collaborate with team members to follow best practices and requirements
  • Communicate with a customer side
