Roles & Responsibilities

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred)
  • Exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, or container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Interest in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, especially Large Language Models (LLMs) and automation use cases

Requirements:

  • Develop and integrate security scanning workflows using tools such as tfsec and Trivy within pre-commit and CI/CD pipelines
  • Build a system to parse and normalize infrastructure security findings from scanning tools
  • Design and implement an AI-assisted remediation engine that generates recommended fixes for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) vulnerabilities
  • Implement validation mechanisms (e.g., Terraform validation, linting, rescanning) to ensure accuracy and safety of generated fixes

Internship Overview

We are looking for interns to join us for our 2026 Summer Internship Program! Position Overview

IaC Remediation Intern to join our engineering team for Summer 2026. This role offers hands-on experience working at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, security, and Artificial Intelligence.

The intern will contribute to improving developer workflows by building automation that identifies and remediates infrastructure security vulnerabilities using modern DevSecOps practices and AI-driven solutions.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and integrate security scanning workflows using tools such as tfsec and Trivy within pre-commit and CI/CD pipelines
  • Build a system to parse and normalize infrastructure security findings from scanning tools
  • Design and implement an AI-assisted remediation engine that generates recommended fixes for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) vulnerabilities
  • Implement validation mechanisms (e.g., Terraform validation, linting, rescanning) to ensure accuracy and safety of generated fixes
  • Lead a capstone project to build an end-to-end AI-powered remediation workflow that automatically generates pull requests with validated fixes for security findings

  • Nice to Haves:
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred)
  • Exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, or container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Basic understanding of application or infrastructure security concepts
  • Interest in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, especially Large Language Models (LLMs) and automation use cases

  • Requirements:
  • Must be actively enrolled in a college degree program
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
