As a Sourcing Analyst II, you will coordinate sourcing and contracting activities for Cleveland Clinic by analyzing products and services, with guidance from senior-level analysts. You will help identify sourcing opportunities that drive cost savings, create value, and manage risk. In this role, you will support contract negotiations and sourcing strategies under the direction of senior team members. You will also be responsible for maintaining and managing data within assigned categories. Additionally, you are expected to embody the organization’s mission and values while contributing to and sustaining the Cleveland Clinic experience.
A caregiver in this position works remotely from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Must be a resident of Ohio, Florida, or Nevada.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Collaborate with category team and business stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities, including cost savings, value creation and risk management.
- Coordinate contracts and sourcing events through entire life-cycle. Initiate requests for quotations and reviews incoming proposals against applicable criteria such as quality, price, product availability, distribution method, risk, etc. Prepare responses to requests for proposals under the direction of senior-level team member.
- Collaborate with senior-level analysts on contract negotiations and projects.
- Perform data analysis for assigned, moderately-complex spend categories. Prepare communication and reports regarding findings.
- Coordinate enterprise contract conversions and acquired hospital integration efforts. Evaluates opportunity, gains stakeholder buy-in, communicates product/service changes, coordinates training and ensures product/service is converted. Provides reporting on outcomes, including cost savings, value creation and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate legal review process and facilitates appropriate contract approvals (committees, review boards, etc.) in accordance with internal policies and compliance requirements
- Meet with sales representatives to evaluate new products and/or services.
- Prepare reports on category performance and assists with data maintenance.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders on issue resolution and provides excellence in customer service.
- Maintain the proper and appropriate professional and ethical relationships with all vendor representatives and conducts business according to established principles and guidelines.
- Review current information (such as advertising literature, trade journals, etc.) regarding assigned goods and services to remain up to date on applicable technologies.
- May support senior-level analysts in Excelerate (GPO) contract negotiations and projects
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, transportation and logistics, Business or a related field required and two years of experience in forecasting, inventory, contract management, analytical project management or other related supply chain experience
- OR Associate’s Degree and four years of experience
- OR High School Diploma and six years of experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
- Ability to travel throughout the hospital system, and in some locations, off-site
