  • Prepare and maintain test documentation and defect reporting using tools like Jira, Zephyr, ReportPortal, TestRail, or Allure; collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and QA teams

What you will be doing:

The Mobile/Web Quality Engineer will play a critical role in driving innovation and growth for the Digital Banking Solutions business. In this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the company's digital transformation journey, drive customer-centric innovation and automation, and position the organization as a leader in the competitive digital banking landscape.

What you bring:

•             Proficient in creating test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.

•             Strong hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for mobile apps using relevant tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, Detox).

•             Hands-on experience with JavaScript and Java for automation tasks and test script development.

•             Knowledge of React applications.

•             Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and working collaboratively with DevOps teams.

•             Solid understanding of mobile application frameworks, architectures, and technologies to effectively design and execute testing strategies.

•             Ability to analyze logs, debug issues, and troubleshoot mobile app performance, compatibility, and functionality issues.

•             Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices, including Agile testing methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

•             Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation, defect tracking, and reporting using tools such as Jira, Zephyr, ReportPortal, TestRail, or Allure.

•             Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, designers, and QA teams.

•             Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and work collaboratively with teams to resolve technical challenges.

•             Demonstrates judgment and flexibility, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and rapidly changing environments.

•             Takes an ownership approach to engineering and product outcomes.

•             Action-oriented self-starter with a hands-on, “roll up the sleeves” approach.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $166,120.00 - $282,410.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
