  • Perform software installation, customization, and start-up services; start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical power monitoring equipment, control devices, and communication systems
  • Configures, troubleshoots, and commissioning of EPMS/BMS software and controls
  • Documents the as-built system and providing commissioning results

Responsible for implementing and troubleshooting automation systems, electrical monitoring and control systems, devices, and communications systems while working under the guidance of an experienced team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Enrollment in or completion of a Certificate/Associate/Bachelor's program in a Technical Field, related to Engineering, or Control Systems or equivalent

Experience: None

Travel: Up to 75%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Focuses on the deployment of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS) at data center facilities.
  • Responsibilities for this position include performing software installation, customization, and start-up services; start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical power monitoring equipment, control devices, and communication systems
  • Configures, troubleshoots, and commissioning of EPMS/BMS software and controls
  • Documents the as-built system and providing commissioning results
  • Knowledge of electrical fundamentals as well as with electrical equipment.
  • Ability to technically troubleshoot network communications (IP Addresses and being able to find devices on a network).
  • Desire to learn new technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
