Description:Postdoctoral Fellow – Sleep Medicine - A highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow is sought to join the research group of Dr. Victoria Pak on an NIH R01-funded research program. Dr. Pak’s overall research program investigates genetic, metabolomic, and proteomic factors underlying common sleep disorders and chronic disease. This work spans across heterogeneous populations, including individuals with sleep apnea, those with cognitive impairment, and the general population. Findings are translated into clinical applications, including the testing of new interventions through clinical trials to improve human health and well-being.
The successful candidate will work closely with Dr. Pak in a collaborative and interdisciplinary research environment. Responsibilities include leading data analysis, preparing manuscripts for publication in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, and contributing to the development of new grant proposals.
This position is designed to support the development of the fellow toward an independent research career, with strong mentorship in scientific writing, grant development, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The fellow will be encouraged to pursue independent funding opportunities, including NIH career development awards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Compensation includes a salary up to $72,000 per year plus benefits. Relocation assistance may be available based on location.
