Roles & Responsibilities

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field.
7+ years of practical experience in software engineering within a business and technically complex environment.
Excellent knowledge of Java/Java EE with Wildfly and Spring Boot; strong RESTful API development and testing with JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
Familiarity with SQL, JPA/Hibernate, Gradle, and Git; exposure to modern architectural patterns and technologies (e.g., hexagonal architecture, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes); understanding of Agile and DevSecOps practices.

Requirements:

Take technical ownership of new feature implementation—from development to testing and operations—to deliver high-quality results.
Analyze complex problems and manage incidents with internal teams and partners, driving sustainable solutions.
Translate business needs into robust, scalable technical solutions; maintain a strong focus on clean code and participate in code reviews.
Contribute to architectural decisions and the continuous enhancement of products, platforms, and services; improve performance, reliability, and observability using tools like Datadog, Kibana, or Grafana.

In pursuit of our vision, we are searching for Senior Software Engineers, based in Zurich or Bern with the flexibility of Home Office.

Your Profile:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field
7+ years of practical experience in software engineering within a business and technically complex environment
Excellent knowledge of Java/Java EE with Wildfly and Spring Boot
Familiar with SQL, JPA/Hibernate, Gradle, and Git
Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and strong testing skills using JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers
Exposure to modern architectural patterns (e.g., hexagonal architecture) and technologies like Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus
Understanding of Agile and DevSecOps practices
Independent, reliable, and collaborative team player
Fluent in English; German is a plus
