Role: Senior Functional Training Specialist
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: Long Term (possibility of contract to hire)
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote - Candidates can work from anywhere in India (onsite after conversion to FTE - Mumbai or Bengaluru)

Job Summary
As a Change Management Training Specialist, you will design, develop, and deliver training that enables successful adoption of digital transformation and process improvement initiatives across Nielsen. Supporting both Artificial Intelligence technologies and End User Compute Transformations, you will translate strategies into engaging learning experiences for AI implementations, end-user computing solutions, and process optimization projects. This role focuses on training execution, following instructional design, content development, facilitation, and measurement.

Key Responsibilities
● Design, develop training materials (e-learning, guides, videos, job aids) and create hands-on exercises, simulations, and assessments for technology launches and process transformation.
● Deliver engaging training sessions (virtual and in-person), facilitate workshops, office hours, and labs, and provide one-on-one coaching for employees.
● Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to build internal capacity and scale adoption efforts.
● Assess training needs with transformation leaders to identify skill gaps and tailor approaches by audience.
● Manage training logistics, LMS administration, scheduling, and enrollment

● Partner, collaborate with transformation managers, subject matter experts, and process owners to align training with strategies, timelines, and ensure content accuracy.

● Professional Growth & Impact: While this role has no formal supervisory duties, you may provide guidance to new associates. You will receive a moderate level of guidance while continuously acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills in change management.

Qualifications
● 5–10 years of experience in instructional design, training delivery, or learning and development with a track record of independent work product
● Proven experience designing and delivering training for technology implementations, digital transformation, or process improvement initiatives
● Deep expertise in adult learning principles (ADDIE) and instructional design across multiple modalities
● Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools and LMS administration
● Exceptional facilitation skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences
● Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace tools for content creation and collaboration
● Experience with video creation/editing tools and virtual training platforms
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Organizational Development preferred
